Wholesome to loko!

SO my boss arrived yesterday and we had a video conference with staff members from another Japanese company. I actually enjoyed it cuz I got to speak with Japanese people for the first time (including my boss). I wasn't just listening to them speak, I was trying to observe their intonation when speaking (I learned this technique when I studied Mandarin), so yeah, their tones are easier to remember, they only have two tones, high and low, mandarin on the other hand has 5, including the neutral tone, and Cantonese has 8! (i dont want to study it).

Anyway, my boss treated us for dinner in a Japanese Restaurant here at SM Baguio, the name of the establishment is Teriyaki Boy if Im not mistaken. As you can guess, it was my first time to eat in a Japanese restaurant, let alone, taste Japanese cuisine. The waitress forgot to write my Gyoza! so I wasnt able to taste it. My favorite among the Sushi's is the salmon sushi, taihen oishii desu.

Then the marketing manager, our manager here in Baguio studio who is also the Shachoo's wife, told Shachoo that I could speak Japanese and then he said, "OH! lets speak in Japanese then!" Then I think my brain just deteriorated...

Ok, ok, Im still alive (and kicking).

I've got work now and forced to work Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Im livin away from home so its kinda hard.

But before that, yeah Ive graduated already, got a loyalty award, Best in Thesis award, Web Page Developer of the Year Award, and certification as Magna Cum Laude. XD

Im workin for a Japanese company as a web...uhhh... creator. Thats on the contract, they couldnt decide whether I should be a web programmer of web designer cuz im proficient in both so they made a new title - Web Creator. XD

Im forced to study Japanese. Im already finished memorizing and learning how to write Hiragana and Katakana characters and im planning to start with Kanji. Im also already familiar with the grammar rules of Japanese although my vocabulary still sucks (same with my Mandarin)

Languages Spoken:
Filipino
English
Mandarin (Chinese)
Japanese (Nihongo)

About my (self) piano lessons, I think Im already improving (bleh!). Uploaded a few videos in youtube. Search for my channel. Keyword: bloodsinnerken

As for my website, [link] its dead, i mean the hosting. I couldnt pay for the extension. I can still save it, its due by June 26, 2008. Ill try to see whether I can budget something from my next salary.

As a result, Ill be pretty active here in DA just to make my web presence...uh...active.

Ill try to upload something later, its a web design that incorporates some Japanese styling techniques (whatever). Its just for practice.
